Morocco Tours — Private Trips Planned by a Berber Family

Desert tours, day trips, city experiences & grand circuits

Every Morocco Tour We Run Is Private, Customisable, and Led by Our Family

We run over 36 Morocco tours from eight departure cities — Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca, Tangier, Rabat, Agadir, Ouarzazate and Errachidia. I’m Brahim, and my family has been planning these trips for over a decade. Whether you want a 3-day Sahara desert crossing, a quick day trip to Chefchaouen, or a 14-day grand circuit that covers the whole country, every Morocco tour we offer is private: your group, your driver, your pace.

Browse the Morocco tours below by type or by city, or tell us what you have in mind and we’ll build something from scratch. There’s no fixed group, no set departure date — just a route designed around you.

What every Morocco tour includes:

  • Private air-conditioned 4×4 or minibus — no shared transport
  • Luxury Sahara desert camp with sunset camel trek (on all desert Morocco tours)
  • English-speaking Berber driver-guide from our own team
  • Hand-picked riads, hotels & kasbahs — budget, mid-range or luxury
  • Breakfast & dinner daily on multi-day Morocco tours

How to Choose Your Morocco Tour

Not Sure Which Morocco Tour Is Right for You?

Choosing between 36 Morocco tours can feel overwhelming — so let me make it simple. Ask yourself three questions and you’ll narrow it down fast.

Where are you starting? Most guests fly into Marrakech or Casablanca. If you land in Marrakech, our Sahara desert tours head east through the Atlas Mountains and into the Erg Chebbi dunes. If you land in Fes, we drive south through the Ziz Valley. Flying into Tangier? We take the scenic route through Chefchaouen and the Rif Mountains first. Your starting city shapes the entire route — so that’s always the first thing we figure out together.

How many days do you have? If you have 2–3 days, a focused Morocco tour works well — Fes to Marrakech via the desert, or a quick Sahara overnight from Marrakech. With 5–7 days, you can combine the desert with imperial cities and the coast. And with 10–14 days, we can cover nearly everything — north to south, desert to Atlantic, all four imperial cities. There’s no “right” length. We’ll fit the route to your time.

What matters most to you? Some guests want the Sahara and nothing else — camels, dunes, stars. Others want culture — medinas, kasbahs, Gnawa music. Families need a different pace than honeymooners. Photographers need different light than hikers. Tell us what excites you and we’ll build the Morocco tour around that, not the other way around.

Still not sure? That’s completely fine. Send us a message with whatever you know — even “I have 5 days and I want to see the desert” — and we’ll suggest the right Morocco tour for you.

Best Morocco Tours by Interest

Morocco Tours for Every Kind of Traveller

Sahara Desert Tours Our most popular Morocco tours. Cross the Atlas Mountains, ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset, sleep under the stars in a Berber camp, and wake up to a Sahara sunrise. Available as a 2-day overnight, a 3-day Fes to Marrakech crossing, or woven into any longer itinerary.

Honeymoon & Couples Tours Private Morocco tours designed for two — luxury riads in Fes and Marrakech, a private desert camp with dinner under the stars, coastal sunsets in Essaouira, and quiet mountain passes where it’s just the two of you and the road. We’ll add the romantic details your partner will thank you for.

Family Morocco Tours We host families with kids of every age. Our drivers know how to pace a day — shorter drives, more stops, an afternoon swim at a hotel pool between sightseeing. The Sahara camel trek is safe for children, and kids love the dune sandboarding. We’ll match accommodation and activities to your family’s energy.

Photography Tours For guests who want specific light, specific angles, and enough time to actually get the shot. We’ll position you on the Erg Chebbi ridge before first light, take you to the Fes tanneries when the dye vats are freshest, and route through the Dadès Valley when the afternoon shadows hit the gorge walls. Our drivers know what photographers need because they’ve done this dozens of times.

Cultural & Imperial City Tours Morocco has four imperial cities — Fes, Marrakech, Meknes and Rabat — each with its own character. Add in the Roman ruins at Volubilis, the blue alleys of Chefchaouen, and the Gnawa musicians of Khamlia, and you have some of the richest cultural Morocco tours in North Africa. Our licensed city guides bring these places to life in English (French, Spanish, Italian on request).

Solo Traveller Tours We host a lot of solo guests — men and women. Every Morocco tour is private, so you’ll have your own driver-guide the entire time. You’re never alone unless you want to be, and you’ll have Brahim’s WhatsApp for 24/7 support. It’s the safest, most comfortable way to see Morocco on your own.

Best Time for Morocco Tours

When Is the Best Time to Book a Morocco Tour?

Morocco is a year-round destination, but the experience changes with the seasons. Here’s what I tell guests when they ask:

SeasonMonthsSahara DesertAtlas MountainsCities & CoastMy Take
SpringMar – May☀️ Warm days, cool nights🌸 Green valleys, wildflowers🌤️ PerfectBest overall. The whole country is at its finest. Book early — this is our busiest season.
AutumnSep – Nov☀️ Heat fading, ideal🍂 Crisp, clear skies🌤️ Warm, no crowdsMy personal favourite. Fewer tourists, golden light, comfortable temperatures everywhere.
SummerJun – Aug🔥 Hot — 40°C+ by day⛰️ Best season for trekking🏖️ Beach season in EssaouiraWe adjust Morocco tours to avoid midday desert heat. Early mornings and late afternoons work well. Coast and mountains are perfect.
WinterDec – Feb❄️ Cold nights, warm days🏔️ Snow on the peaks🌧️ Some rain, quiet citiesThe Sahara is beautiful in winter — clear skies, no haze. Just bring layers for the evenings.

TIP

Ramadan note: During Ramadan (dates shift each year), some restaurants close during the day and the pace slows. Many guests enjoy this quieter, more reflective side of Morocco. We’ll always let you know the dates and adjust your Morocco tour if needed.

What a Day on Our Morocco Tours Looks Like

What a Day on Our Morocco Tours Actually Looks Like

People ask me this a lot — “What does a typical day feel like?” — so here’s the truth: no two days are the same, and that’s the whole point. But this is the rhythm most of our Morocco tours follow.

Morning. Your driver picks you up after breakfast at the riad — no rush, no 6 AM alarm unless you want one. The drive starts with coffee and conversation. Our drivers know these roads like their own hands, and the stories start early.

Midday. We stop where it makes sense — a gorge viewpoint, a village market, a kasbah you didn’t know existed. Lunch is your call. We’ll pull over at a place we know, somewhere the tajine has been simmering since morning, and you eat overlooking a valley or a palm oasis. No tourist restaurants.

Afternoon. More driving, more stops — or sometimes we arrive at the day’s destination early and you have free time. Walk a medina, swim at the hotel pool, sit on a rooftop with mint tea and watch the light change. Some days have more structure; some are deliberately open.

Evening. On desert nights, the camels are waiting. You ride out as the sun drops, settle into the camp, eat together, and then the sky opens up — more stars than you’ve seen in your life. On city nights, we’ll drop you at your riad and suggest where to eat. The night is yours.

The honest version? It’s not a schedule — it’s a day with a friend who knows the country. That’s what a Morocco tour with us actually feels like.
