Morocco Tours from Agadir — Paradise Valley, Atlas Mountains & Desert Day Trips

4 expert-guided tours — Paradise Valley, Souss Massa, Atlas Mountains & Taroudant day trips
Morocco tours from Agadir

Discover Morocco's South from the Atlantic Coast of Agadir

Agadir is Morocco’s sunny Atlantic beach city, but the best of it is just inland — the turquoise rock pools of Paradise Valley, the bird-rich lagoons of Souss-Massa, the red-walled old town of Taroudant, and the quiet southern road into the Sahara that few operators run.

From Agadir we run 5 tours, from an easy day in Paradise Valley to grand desert crossings up through the Anti-Atlas and Foum Zguid to Marrakech and Fes. Brahim and our drivers know the back roads of the Souss.

  • Paradise Valley day trip: a swim in the cold turquoise pools and a walk through the argan
  • 5 to 10-day desert crossings via Taroudant, Foum Zguid, the dunes and the kasbahs
  • All private 4×4, at your pace

  • We booked a 7-day Morocco tour from Casablanca for our family of five. Every detail was flawlessly handled — from the Fes medina guided tour to our night in the Sahara Desert camp. Our guide Hassan was outstanding. The kids still talk about the camel ride at sunrise. Best Morocco family tour we could have asked for!

The private Berber guide, gourmet dinner under the stars, and the 5-star desert glamping tent in Merzouga were world-class. Romantic, authentic, unforgettable. • Booked a 3-day Fes to Marrakech desert tour and it was the best decision I made. The landscapes — the Ziz Valley palm oasis, the Todra Gorge, the Erg Chebbi dunes — are unlike anything I have seen in years of travel. The guide was knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly professional. Highly recommended!

  • Took the 4-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour with my partner. Our guide knew every legend behind every Kasbah, every star in the Sahara sky, and every hidden gem in the Draa Valley. The camel trek at sunset over Erg Chebbi dunes was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

  • We booked a 4-day Fes to Marrakech tour and were completely overwhelmed by how beautiful Morocco is. Our guide took us through the Todra Gorge canyon, the Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO Kasbah, and the magical Sahara dunes at Merzouga. • Absolutely spectacular 3-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour. From crossing the High Atlas Mountains to the moment our camels crested that first dune — it was genuinely life-changing. The Berber desert camp was comfortable and the food was incredible.

  • I took a Chefchaouen day trip from Fes followed by a 3-day Fes to Marrakech Sahara tour. Both were expertly organized. The Blue City is even more stunning in person and the Sahara night was surreal — total silence, a million stars, and the warmth of Berber hospitality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can’t find your answer here? Contact our team — we reply within 24 hours and offer free personalized Morocco tour advice.

How far is Paradise Valley from Agadir?

Paradise Valley is approximately 55km northeast of Agadir (about 45–60 minutes by road). The route follows the Souss Valley before climbing into the argan tree-covered foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

Is Agadir a good base for exploring southern Morocco?

Yes — Agadir is perfectly positioned to access Paradise Valley, Taroudant, Souss Massa, and the Anti-Atlas Mountains. For deeper south Morocco (Sahara Desert, Dades Valley), Marrakech is a better base — or you can do our 3-day Agadir to Marrakech tour.

What is the best season to visit Agadir?

Agadir is excellent year-round. Summer (June–August) is hot at 28°C but cooled by Atlantic breezes. Winter (December–February) is pleasant at 20–22°C — perfect for outdoor activities. Spring and autumn are ideal.

Can I visit Essaouira as a day trip from Agadir?

Yes — Essaouira is approximately 2.5 hours north of Agadir. Contact us to add an Essaouira excursion to your Agadir itinerary. The wind-swept Atlantic port town is one of Morocco’s most atmospheric coastal cities.

Is Taroudant worth visiting?

Absolutely. Taroudant is called the ‘Grandmother of Marrakech’ because it predates the Red City and preserves a more authentic, less touristy version of the southern Moroccan medina experience. The orange tree-lined streets and spice souks are extraordinary.
