Pickup: 8:30 AM from your Ouarzazate hotel/riad. Drive south over the Tizi n’Tinififft pass to Agdz — the entry to the lush Draa Valley. Visit Tamnougalt Kasbah, a fortified 16th-century mud-brick village still partly inhabited.
Continue through the world’s longest palm-tree oasis to Zagora. Optional photo at the famous “Timbuktu 52 days by camel” signpost. Late afternoon arrival at the Tinfou dunes for sunset.
Sunset camel trek into the dunes. Overnight in a Berber desert camp with tagine dinner, drumming, stargazing.

Pre-dawn sunrise over the dunes. Camels back to Tinfou. Drive to a Berber nomad family for mint tea and local conversation. Afternoon drive back north through the Draa Valley with stops at lesser-known kasbahs and palm groves.
