Departure: 8:00 AM from your Marrakech hotel/riad
Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m). Stop at Berber villages along the way and enjoy panoramic views of the mountain landscape.
Visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, exploring its ancient mud-brick architecture and learning about its Hollywood film history.
After lunch near Ouarzazate, drive east along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Rose Valley and Skoura Oasis, before arriving at the breathtaking Dades Gorge — a dramatic canyon carved over millennia.
Evening: Settle into your hotel/riad perched on the edge of the gorge and enjoy dinner with a view.

Morning: After breakfast, explore the Dades Gorge in more depth — the dramatic winding road with its famous hairpin bends offers incredible photo opportunities.
Drive to Todra Gorge, where 300-meter-high canyon walls nearly touch above the narrow riverbed. Walk through the gorge and enjoy the cool shade of these towering natural formations.
Continue through the desert landscapes of eastern Morocco, stopping in Erfoud to visit a fossil marble workshop showcasing 350-million-year-old marine fossils.
Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Mount your camel for an unforgettable 1.5-hour sunset camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Evening: Arrive at your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music and drumming, and an incredible night of stargazing in the Sahara.

Early morning: Rise before dawn for the Sahara sunrise — climb the tallest dune near camp and watch the desert come alive with light. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga.
Visit the historic market town of Rissani, birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, and browse the lively souk. Optionally visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif.
Take the scenic route via N’kob — a beautiful oasis town known for 45 kasbahs — and through the Draa Valley toward Ouarzazate.

Morning: After breakfast, optionally visit the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate (entrance fee not included) — Africa’s largest film studio where Hollywood blockbusters are still filmed.
Drive north through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka, stopping at Argan oil cooperatives and panoramic viewpoints along the way.
Arrival: Return to your Marrakech hotel/riad by approximately 5:00 PM.
