Day-by-Day 7 Days Agadir Grand Tour Via Sahara, Ait Ben Haddou And Marrakech

    Day 1Agadir → Taroudant → Anti-Atlas → Foum Zguid

We pick you up at 7:30 AM and run east through the argan forest to Taroudant and its 16th-century ramparts, then climb the Anti-Atlas on the Tizi Mighert pass — ochre canyons, Berber villages, lone kasbahs — with tea stops and a roadside lunch, on to Foum Zguid at the edge of Iriqui National Park.

Accommodation: hotel or kasbah near Foum Zguid (half board).

Day 2Foum Zguid → Draa Valley → Zagora → dunes (sunset camel trek)

North through the Draa Valley palm oasis past mud-brick kasbahs and the famous Zagora Timbuktu, 52 days signpost. By late afternoon you reach the dunes for a sunset camel trek to a Berber camp run by people we know — tagine, drums, stargazing.

Accommodation: Berber desert camp (half board).

Day 3Sahara sunrise → Merzouga 4x4 desert day

The sunrise, camels back for breakfast, then a full 4×4 day around Erg Chebbi: the Gnawa music village of Khamlia (live music), nomad households on the hammada, fossil beds, and seasonal flamingos at Dayet Srji. A second night in a Merzouga riad with a pool.

Accommodation: hotel or riad in Merzouga (half board).

Day 4Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley

West to the Todra Gorge, where 300-metre walls all but meet overhead and you walk the cool riverbed, then the Dades Valley for its monkey-finger rocks and famous hairpins, with sunset on the cliffs.

Accommodation: hotel or riad in the Dades Valley (half board).

    Day 5Dades → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Tizi n'Tichka → Marrakech

The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs west, with the UNESCO Ait Ben Haddou — the granary climb and the mud-brick alleys — then over the Tizi n’Tichka (2,260 m) into Marrakech for the evening.

    Accommodation: riad in Marrakech (B&B).

Day 6Marrakech guided city tour → Essaouira

A morning with one of our guides through Marrakech — the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Majorelle Garden, and the souks around Jemaa el-Fna — then west to the Atlantic port of Essaouira for its UNESCO medina, the harbour, and fresh seafood by the water.

    Accommodation: riad in Essaouira (B&B).

    Day 7Essaouira → Agadir

A morning on the Essaouira beach and ramparts, then the scenic coast road south back to Agadir by afternoon — or onward to Marrakech if you prefer.

When you are ready, send us a message.
