Day-by-Day 6-Day Morocco Itinerary From Casablanca

Day 1Casablanca → Hassan II Mosque → Rabat → Fes

We pick you up at the Casablanca airport or your hotel for a guided look at the Hassan II Mosque, its 210-metre minaret over the Atlantic, then Rabat — the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Kasbah of the Udayas — and on to Fes in the late afternoon.

Accommodation: traditional riad in Fes (half board).

    Day 2Fes — a full guided day

A whole day in the Fes el-Bali medina with a local guide — the Chouara tanneries, the Bou Inania madrasa, the Al-Qarawiyyin, and the souks of spice and silk — with the Merenid Tombs viewpoint over the whole medina and time to get lost in its nine thousand lanes.

Accommodation: traditional riad in Fes (half board).

Day 3Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga (sunset camel trek)

South through the Middle Atlas, with Ifrane and the Azrou cedar forest and its macaques, Midelt, and the red-rock Ziz Valley, to Merzouga and a sunset camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to a Berber camp run by people we know — tagine, drums, stars.

Accommodation: desert camp at Erg Chebbi (half board).

Day 4Sahara sunrise → Rissani → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley

The sunrise from the dunes, camels back, the souk at Rissani, then west to the Todra Gorge and its sheer 300-metre walls, and into the Dades Valley with its winding canyon road.

Accommodation: hotel or riad in the Dades Valley (half board).

    Day 5Dades → Rose Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Tizi n'Tichka → Marrakech

The Dades hairpins, then west on the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Rose Valley and Skoura to Ouarzazate and the UNESCO Ait Ben Haddou — the kasbah of Gladiator and Game of Thrones — then over the Tizi n’Tichka (2,260 m), with argan stops, into Marrakech by evening.

Accommodation: hotel or riad in Marrakech (half board).

Day 6Marrakech — guided city tour and transfer

A morning with one of our guides through Marrakech — the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Majorelle Garden, and the Jemaa el-Fna with its charmers, storytellers, and food stalls — then free time in the souks and a transfer to the airport, train station, or your hotel.

When you are ready, send us a message — we will plan it around you.
