Tour Details — 6 Day Tangier to Marrakech Tour

Our private 6 Day Tangier To Marrakech Tour offers an immersive Moroccan experience. Six days is the sweet spot for crossing Morocco top to bottom without rushing. Our 6 day Tangier to Marrakech tour is a private, one-way journey from Tangier to Marrakech that strings together the country’s best: the Blue City of Chefchaouen, imperial Fes, a Sahara night at Erg Chebbi, and the UNESCO kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

You wander Chefchaouen’s indigo lanes, lose an afternoon in the Fes medina with a local guide, then drop south through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga, where you ride camels into the dunes and sleep at a Berber camp run by people we grew up with. The road home runs through the Todra Gorge, the Dades Valley, and over the Tizi n’Tichka pass — kasbahs the whole way. Private 4×4, your pace, hand-picked riads.

Short on time? The 5-day Tangier to Marrakech desert tour covers the same corridor in five.

Day-by-Day 6 Days Tangier To Marrakech Via Sahara And Blue City

    Day 1Tangier → Asilah → Chefchaouen

Pickup at 8:30 AM from your Tangier hotel, riad, or the port. We drive south to Asilah, the Atlantic artist town of whitewashed murals and Portuguese ramparts, for a walk and lunch over the sea, then climb inland through the Rif to Chefchaouen. You settle into a blue-city riad and we take the evening slowly — the Spanish Mosque viewpoint at sunset and a rooftop dinner.

    Accommodation: riad in Chefchaouen (B&B).

    Day 2Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Fes

A morning in the blue medina, then south past the Roman ruins of Volubilis to Fes by afternoon, with an easy orientation walk near your riad.

Accommodation: traditional riad in Fes (B&B).

    Day 3Fes — a full guided day

We give the whole day to Fes el-Bali with a licensed local guide — the Chouara tanneries, the Bou Inania and Al-Attarine madrasas, the Al-Qarawiyyin, the Royal Palace gates, the Mellah, and the deep maze of souks — with a rooftop lunch over the green roofs.

Accommodation: traditional riad in Fes (B&B).

Day 4Fes → Ifrane → Ziz Valley → Merzouga (sunset camel trek)

The drive south: the cedar forests and macaques of Ifrane and Azrou, Midelt, and the palm-deep Ziz Valley. You reach Merzouga in the late afternoon and ride camels out over the Erg Chebbi dunes to a Berber camp run by people we know — tagine, drums, stargazing.

Accommodation: desert camp at Erg Chebbi (half board).

    Day 5Sahara sunrise → 4x4 desert day → Merzouga

Sunrise over the dunes, camels back for breakfast, then a full 4×4 day in the desert — the Gnawa music village of Khamlia, a visit with a nomad household on the hammada, Lake Sriji and its seasonal flamingos, the black volcanic plateau, and the fossil workshops at Erfoud. Quad biking or sandboarding if you fancy it.

Accommodation: hotel or riad in Merzouga (half board).

    Day 6Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades → Ait Ben Haddou → Tizi n'Tichka → Marrakech

West via Rissani to the Todra Gorge and its 300-metre walls, then the Dades hairpins and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs past Skoura and Ouarzazate to the UNESCO kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Over the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m) and down into Marrakech by evening, where we drop you at your hotel, the airport, or the train station.

When you are ready, send us a message — we will set it up around you, and the.
